I mentioned a couple weeks back that I hadn’t really wrapped up Wardrobe Architect for the simple reason that it’s an ongoing process for me. It turns out, I wasn’t the only one. Kristen over at the Coletterie is running a new round of WA for 2015, and I’m definitely going to be playing along. Instead of 12 weeks, the project will stretch out through the year and the focus on hand making your wardrobe will be greater. I’m actually really excited about this because as much as I wanted to sew some of my wardrobe last year, but between having an infant and a fluctuating body, it just wasn’t possible. This year I’ve got a new space to sew in, I’m more confident in my body, and the baby doesn’t need *quite* so much attention. My plan is to make two skirts for the spring and autumn rounds of sewing, and maybe even a dress. And MAYBE MAYBE even making them using fabrics culled from 52 Patterns in 2015! Eep!
In a couple weeks, I’ll be revisiting my WA posts from last year, going through the exercises again and talking about what’s changed and what hasn’t.
Do you have any wardrobe or sewing goals for this year? I’d love to hear about them.
